Event Summary
"Jazz Live 2017" Concert Invitations at the Music Department. UPM campus staff are invited to enjoy jazz and improvisation in a relaxed atmosphere at the "Jazz Live" event to be held on October 27, 2017 (Friday), from 8.00pm to 11.00 pm at Music House 4, FEM, UPM. "Jazz Live" is an attempt to expose jazz music to campus people and at the same time create a play together between lecturers and music students. "Jazz Live" has been held many times since 2014. Come together to watch the performances of some of Malaysia's leading musicians as well as alleviate their work stress and learning. Among the songs to be presented are "Tea for Two", "Sophisticated Lady", "Cendering (Boyle)", “Putera Puteri (Jimmy Boyle)" and “Getaran Jiwa (P. Ramlee)". The veteran musicians are Dr. Chan Cheong Jan (piano), senior lecturer, FEM, UPM, Joseph Arnesto (bass), DBKL Orchestra, Shamsul Kamar (drums), major lecturer for drums in ASWARA and Dr. Ahmad Faudzi Musib ), Head of Music Department, FEM, UPM. Free entrance, anytime between 8.00 pm to 11.00 pm.
