Serdang - 24 May 2019, The Wicked Music People (WMP) is the first baroque music ensemble in Malaysia. The core members from the WMP, Mr. Ng U-En (Gambist), Ms. Lee Hai Lin (Baroque Violinist), and Dr. Andrew Filmer (Violist) came to the UPM Music Department and gave a lecture on the period instruments and early music, as well as sharing the journey of making the first Malaysian-musician made harpsichord with the music students on 24 May 2019.

The music students were able to see, to hear, to touch, to compare, and to play on the harpsichord, the baroque violin as well as the viol da gamba. This experience was very important in shaping the students’ knowledge on early music as well as gaining the hearing experience on the real period instruments.
