Have approval of the Bachelor degree in related field with a proposed program get:
at least 2.75 / equivalent ; or
less than 2.75 but more than 2.25 with working
experience in the field related to the program applied for
not less than 3 years.
Master degree in related field with the program applied .
Master Degree Programme An applicant with a good scholastic achievement in the Bachelor degree or its equivalent (subject to specific programme requirements). An applicant without sufficient academic qualification but possessing evidence of adequate related research or work experience may also apply for admission. A student in the final semester of undergraduate study may apply for provisional admission provided his current CGPA satisfies the programme requirement. Doctoral Degree Programme An applicant must posses a Master degree or its equivalent. An applicant with an outstanding bachelor degree with CGPA of 3.750 and above or equivalent to first class honours may, subject to any other requirements, also apply for direct admission into PhD degree programme. An applicant for provisional admission may also be made by a student who has submitted his Master degree thesis for examination.
For postgraduate programs ( Masters and PhD ) , applicants must apply through the School of Graduate Studies , Universiti Putra Malaysia.
Twice a year in the first half and second half of each session (September and February )
The minimum time for the Master program is 2 years ( 4 semesters) , a maximum of 3 years ( 6 semesters), while the minimum time for the PhD program is 3 years ( 6 semesters ) and a maximum of 5 years ( 10 semesters)
Graduate students who wish to obtain a letter of authorization must meet with their supervisors .
